Q: Is there anyone who can’t take NeoCitran®?

A: Yes. Since all of the formulations in the various NeoCitran products are different, you must always carefully read and follow the labelled cautions each time before taking these products

Q: I’m taking another product which contains acetaminophen. Can I also take NeoCitran®?

A: No. Do not use NeoCitran® with any other product containing acetaminophen.

Q: My symptoms don’t seem to be going away. When should I call a doctor?

A: Consult a physician if:

  • Pain lasts for more than 5 days
  • Fever extends beyond three days
  • Sore Throat lasts for more than 2 days
  • Cough worsens, persists for more than a week, or is accompanied by too much phlegm (mucus), high fever, rash, persistent headache, nausea or vomiting.

Q: I’m going to be drinking alcohol. Is it OK to take NeoCitran?

A: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take the NeoCitran products that contain acetaminophen or other pain relievers/ fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.

Q: I took more than the recommended dose! What should I do?

A: Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious health problems. In case of an overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you don't notice any signs or symptoms.
