About NeoCitran®
NeoCitran® products contain a number of medications for symptoms associated with colds and flu including:
- Acetaminophen: used to relieve mild to moderate pain, reduce fever, headache, body aches and pains, sore throat, chills.
- Chlorpheniramine / Pheniramine: are antihistamines that help to relieve red, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and sinuses caused by allergies, hay fever, and the common cold.
- Dextromethorphan: used to help relieve coughs due to colds.
- Phenylephrine and Pseudoephedrine: used for the temporary relief of congestion or stuffiness in the nose and sinuses caused by allergies, hay fever, and the common cold.
- Diphenhydramine: an antihistamine. Helps relieve red, irritated, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny nose caused by hay fever, allergies, and the common cold. It is also used to help relieve coughing due to colds, minor throat or airway irritation.
- Guaifenesin: thins the mucus in the lungs and bronchial air passages and makes it easier to cough up the mucus and clear the airways, allowing you to breathe more easily.
